Iranian Artist Expands His Fusion Sound in 2026 With Multi-Genre Masterpieces

DATELINE: Tehran, June 1, 2026 — Iranian singer-songwriter, composer, and independent music producer, Hamidreza Ghorbani, took the music industry by storm in 2026 with the release of not one, but two new albums: Rooz O Shab and The 2026 Collection, Vol. 1. These projects mark one of the most industrious and creatively active periods in Ghorbani's career.

Building on years of international musical collaborations, Ghorbani returned to his artistic roots to produce an ambitious year of music production. He has continued to approach his music as a comprehensive creative process, overseeing everything from developing ideas and writing lyrics to arranging, producing, and engineering his recordings.

Ghorbani's first release of the year, Rooz O Shab, launched in June 2026, showcasing eight original tracks that highlight his contemporary approach to Persian pop and pop-rock. His multifaceted role in this project, including main artist, composer, arranger, producer, and engineer, underscores the self-directed nature of his work.

Following Rooz O Shab, Ghorbani's second major release, The 2026 Collection, Vol. 1, hit the market in August 2026. This collection features 15 tracks with a total running time of approximately 44 minutes, making it one of Ghorbani's most significant releases of the year.

What sets Ghorbani's 2026 work apart is his unique approach to genre. His music draws from pop, jazz, and rock, creating a fusion-oriented palette that transcends standard genre classification. He marries these styles to create a sound that is both accessible and allows room for more experimental arrangements and personal expression.
